Old-school burger place that's right up my alley. Ordering was easy. You just have to wait in line and then try to find an open table. Burgers were tasty, and the fries were really good. They play oldies music in the background, which adds to the nostalgia. Don't miss this place if you're in the area.

I ate dinner there and it was quickly that I realized not only that Al's provided a great atmosphere, but also an institution in the city of Burlington. This is a restaurant that transcends generations, attracting to both someone that is 5 or 7 and 75!!!! The oldies music playing in the background is awesome and the black-and-white checkerboard floors are even better. If you are in town for a few nights, or simply just driving through, make it a point to eat there. The prices are more than reasonable (3.11) for a hamburger in 2025!!!! And the french fries---yes, order the Quart size. You won't share them!!!!
